Friends of Red Bridge is a community group in south Kansas City, Missouri whose aim is to improve the safety and mobility of Red Bridge Road while preserving aesthetic and property values of the surrounding area. We believe the plan approved by the City is a total failure on all counts. As an alternative, we call for the implementation of Context Sensitive Solutions to craft a desirable and comprehensive plan.

I set up the site on December 18th, 2005 in order to collect ideas regarding Red Bridge Road and its environs, and to help organize the growing opposition to the plan to turn Red Bridge Road into a "Grandview Triangle By-Pass".
These yard signs, placed and maintained by the Friends of Red Bridge, show growing public support for our efforts to bring modern transportation planning to Kansas City.
